Synopsis
Children from Orphan's House stage the fairytale "Blue bird" which is a play about happiness.
Children as the heroes of the play do are searching for the happiness which blue bird is symbolized. But happiness is found out to be next to them but not in some magic Happyland and not in the Night Kingdom. They create happiness themselves.
They invent and draw decorations, learn their lines, feel nervous before premier - and this is a really fairytale.
Film-etude about positive example of upbringing in Orphan's House. By rehearsals of fairytale "Blue bird" children get to know main conception about good that is very necessary in their position.
