Road-movie "Ecce Homo" that has been shot in the North of Russia and America is an attempt to touch the person of a great Russian Saint who died in the beginning of XX century Ioann Kronshtadskiy. There are great numbers of followers honoring his memory on every continent and a lot of documents and evidences: diaries, notes, articles, memoirs.
Film dedicated to the person and the track that he left in history, in people's lives who continue to live in his home village in Arkhangelsk region and on the other side of the Earth in America where he was blessed and where the first church in his honor was built.
In 2009 in Russia and abroad 180 years anniversary and 100 years since his dearth will be celebrated. What people of a small village in the Russian North know and remember about Ioann Kronshtadskiy? How his person connected two continents?
